1、 GOOD SAFETY PERFORMANCE. Because the square and cylindrical batteries are packaged with sealed hard shellthe accumulated heat cannot be released. Once the pressure inside the battery is large, it willquickly cause explosion.
2、HIGH ENERGY DENSITY. At present, in the power battery industry,the average cell energy density of mass-produced ternary pouch cell power battery is 240-250Wh/kg, but the energy density of ternary square(hard shell) power battery of the same material system is 210-230Wh/kg.It can be seen that the energy density of the cell of the ternary pouch cell power battery is at least 5% higher than that of the hard shell battery or even more.
3、THE INTERNAL RESISTANCE OF THE BATTERY IS SMALLER. Due to its small internal resistance,the ternary pouch cellpower battery can greatly reduce the battery’s self-consumption, improve the battery’s multiplier performance, produce less heat, and have a longer cycle life.
4 THE CELL SIZE IS MORE FLEXIBLE. The size and shape design of the cell of the ternary flexible power battery will also become flexible.
5、LIGHT WEIGHT. The weight of the pouch cell is 40% lighter than that of the steel shell lithium battery with the same capacity and 20% lighter than that of the aluminum shell battery.
